Description
Gravitas are currently recruiting for a key client based in London, who are looking for an Interim Director of Finance.
Finance and Procurement currently sit under a Corporate Services Director - the aim of this role is to separate those functions out, and turn a under performing department - in to a performing one.
Essentials:
* You must have extensive experience in Finance, at a Director Level.
* You must have demonstrable track record in driving change.
* Communication skills are critical - as this role will report in to the Chief Constable.
* Stakeholder Management is key - with relationships needing to be fostered internally, and externally with the Auditors.
* You will ideally have a varied sector background. This is for a police force, but one which is extremely commercially minded.
Aims:
* To Rewrite all processes and control procedures in Finance and Procurement
* To conduct an extensive review of the department - and provide a solution for change
* To turn around an under performing division
* To lead the department/organisation through a decrease in budgets
The person in this role will have to hold the gravitas (excuse the pun!) to command respect and drive change through.
