Description
Description- Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer supports the Quality and Global Business Management Systems to ensure new and existing programs are effectively launched and managed to customer requirements.
- In addition, this position supports continual improvement of process and product through the business.
- As such, the position is responsible for completion of prototype and production part evaluations, management of prototype and production parts at the manufacturing site, review and revision of management system documentation, and engagement with continual improvement of all processes.
- This person will also be engaged in investigation of internal and external concerns, with an emphasis on problem resolution.
Qualifications
- The right candidate for this role will have some prior Quality Engineering experience in automotive parts manufacturing.
- Recent graduates are acceptable with some experience behind them (1-2 years minimum).
- Prior experience working in automotive parts manufacturing environment is strongly preferred for this role.
- The right candidate will have prior experience overseeing quality in a manufacturing environment.
- Candidates should have at least 1-2 years prior experience.
