Finance Manager, CCAB, ACCA, CIMA, Contract, Midlands
ERG are currently looking for Senior Finance Manager to join one of our public service clients in Northamptonshire. It's an initial 7-month contract offering an excellent day rate.
You will be a qualified member of a recognised accountancy body such as CCAB, ACCA or CIMA. Have extensive experience of leading and providing budgeting and accounting services to budget managers within a major public sector organisation. A clear and experienced understanding of working with/within partnerships/shared services to deliver finance services at a higher managerial level.
This Senior Finance Manager position will require you to be a leader and someone that can make professional decisions that will have a knock on and positive affect to your peers. You will be making important decisions that benefit and have a wide impact throughout the company. You will be calm and professional under pressure being prepared to make difficult decisions and take control when required.
You will be able to identify opportunity to reduce cost and ensure maximum value for money is achieved were possible. You will also be able to liaise these methods with budget holders and instruct them how to effectively manage their budgets for maximum cost saving. Presentation to higher members of the company outside of the accountant department will happen regularly and you will need to be able to translate the finance aspect in a way someone outside the finance department will easily be able to understand.
