Financial Accountant
Edinburgh
£200 - £300/day 6 months Contract
Position:
A brilliant opportunity has come up for a skilled Accountant to join a large non financial services client. The client is looking for the Financial Accountant to get involved with the workstreams in order to update and maintain the actual, forecast and committed spend. You will also be required to produce financial reports for Project Managers and the board. Due to the size of the project it is essential that you will be able to make informed decisions about spend on the budget.
Organisation:
This is a fantastic organisation which has offices across Scotland. You will be based within the Edinburgh office however you will also be required to work from a variety of other offices across the Central Belt. The office has a number of transport links. There is also free parking on site with a number of spaces available.
Essential Skills:
The Financial Accountant will need to be at least QBE and they will accept people who are also part qualified and fully qualified. Ideally you will have relevant experience of working closely on projects and maintaining budget control.
The manager is ideally looking for someone to start in the next couple of weeks so a short notice or immediately available would be preferred.
Rate:
The rate for the Financial Accountant (depending on experience) will either be £200 - £300/day. This will be an initial 6 month contract which may be extended.
