Description
I am currently recruiting for Financial Analysts with experience within banking/finance to join my client, a well known investment bank based in London CIty.Responsibilites;
- Prepare and distribute reconciliations: Trade data to Subledger recs; Subledger to Ledger recs, Intergroup reconciliations, other as allocated
- Monitor balances in key control accounts, suspense, other as allocated, and follow up on outstanding balances in control accounts
- Identify the breaks, including Intergroup breaks, discrepancies and inconsistancies, document and monitor the remediation action plan for those issues.
- Prepare relevant MIS and KPIs where required.
Experience/Education;
- Qualified or Part-qualified accountant
- Experience in reconciliations, investigations and resolution of the unreconciled items
- Working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles
This would be on an initial 6 month contract at a rate of £350-£400.
