My public sector team in Westminster require a Financial Manager within the Financial Management Team and in partnership with work stream leads, to deliver accurate financial and management reporting.
This contract role requires an immediate start is required and the initial term is to 30th September 2016.
The successful candidate will be ensuring that the correct purchasing arrangements are in place.
Description of duties:
- Working with the Deputy Head of the Financial Management Team on financial planning exercises, conducting monthly staff forecasting and posting accruals for staff costs.
- Identifying and processing adjustment journals in relation to staff and supplier costs, to ensure costs are charged to the correct project code.
- Contributing to the financial month-end processes, ensuring accurate and transparent cost assignment by Programme Workstream.
- Ensuring correct purchasing arrangements are in place to deliver prompt and accurate payments, ensuring invoices are submitted to appropriate workstream leads for approval.
- Managing and maintaining the staff spreadsheet and pay model, which is used to measure staff expenditure, progress and prepare forecasts.
- Working with HR on workforce planning exercises, ensuring and assuring the provision of accurate workforce planning data.
- Completing monthly cash forecast returns to cash management.
