Core Project ManagerOur client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for a Core Project Manager to join their business in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:
- To plan, schedule, manage, resource and deliver all activities related to the deployment, integration, test and operations of the mobile Core Network solution
- To own all related interactions with 3rd parties which includes Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), Fixed Line Operators, Service Platforms (e.g., Voicemail, Interactive Voice Recognition, Mobile Number Portability), Content Aggregators and Roaming Partners
- To identify all dependencies (internal and external) and work to ensure these are fulfilled
- To understand the mobile Core Network architecture and technology to a level that allows active engagement with network architects, engineers and technicians
- To manage the Core Network Delivery Team ensuring they deliver to the expected criteria of time, quality and cost
- To participate proactively as a senior member of the Programme Management Team and provide positive support to the other Team members
- To maintain a close working relationship with the customer, guiding them where required, and acting as an exemplary ambassador
- To maintain normal project management documentation (project plans, reports, forecasts, RAID registers etc) to a very high standard, and to provided ad hoc reports as required from time to time
Qualifications:
- Diploma, degree or above in a technical discipline related to telecommunications engineering
- Recognised project management qualification desirable
- 5 years minimum experience as a Project Manager in complex, large-scale telecommunications programmes deploying, upgrading or replacing mobile Core Networks
- Work across cultural and organisational boundaries, and operate successfully in an intense business environment
- Co-operate with customers, internal business unit organisations, and third party vendors
- Display strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Perform as part of a team
- Maintain professionalism and productivity in tense, confrontational situations
- Provide concise and clear reports, both written and verbal
- Deliver fluent communication in English
