Description
We are currently recruiting Commercial Manager for 12 months contract initially with possible extension. Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK.
Experience Required:
- Procurement/commercial - 5 years
- Experience in directs/engineering products, medium or major projects
- Negotiation preparation and negotiation experience - recent
- OJEU experience is ideal
- Defence/maritime sector experience desirable
- SC not necessary but useful
- Excellent analytical and IT skills
- Good stakeholder and team work -track record
- Able to roll sleeves up - Agile and capable of integrating into Projects and contributing quickly
- Experience of OJEU advert/DPQQ/ITT/N drafting and evaluation, clarifications etc - Recent
- Experience of developing bespoke Contract terms and conditions
- Experience of contract aggregation
- Experience of contracting for in-sourced/out-sourced service provision
- Contract extensions/renegotiations
In addition to this, candidates to have experience in these areas from a Commercial/Procurement perspective and not as an engineer or project manager ie have held positions with commercial responsibility for negotiating/drafting contracts, ideally with commercial delegation to commit their organisation/comp
