Description

A large public sector organisation based in Brighton are searching for an Internal Communications Manager to join them on a 10 month contract. They are looking to pay between per day depending on your experience.

The ideal Communications Manager will hold a CIM or CIPR qualification and have experience in all areas of communications; events, marketing, internal, external including press and media.

The Communications manager will be bought in to cover a maternity leave and there will be a few weeks handover either side with the current Internal Communications Manager.

Line management experience is essential as there are 6 direct reports within the communications team. You will report to the Director of Marketing and Communications.

The successful Internal Communications Manager will have experience of picking up and running multiple campaigns involving internal staff stakeholders and external community stakeholders.

Experience from with a public sector organisation would be hugely beneficial; a charity, local government or higher education. However, the department is fast paced, much like a commercial sector organisation.
