Our client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for a Operations Manager (Managed Services) to join their business in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:
- Delivery and P&L management of one or more network operation and evolution Managed Service projects. Responsible for daily operation and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle:
-- Responsible for project delivery: contractual SLAs/KPIs and meeting cost and quality objectives
-- Act as the primary interface between the client and the customer during project delivery: Manage the customer relationship and project governance
-- Manage client and Partner staff to deliver the operational services, including day to day team management
-- Responsible for project team members’ performance, evaluation and development
-- Manage 3rd party equipment and services vendors to meet the expected and contractual SLAs
- Build and develop the customer relationships and demonstrate flexibility to meet and improve set objectives around, cost reduction, service improvement, future business and strategy
- Maintain continuity of good business practices and compliance with internal regulations and controls during the ongoing delivery
- Planning, control and reporting of project delivery; reporting directly to the AMS Management, Project Owner and Sponsor, Steering Committee, Account Director and relevant HQ functions
- Ensure Customer reporting is delivered on time and to a high quality
- Define and Implement plans to support transformation initiatives to improve profitability, while continuing to meet Service Levels
- Seek opportunities to develop the service offering for the customers and add value to the customer's evolution planning; identify and help develop add on sales
- Promote team development with a view to creating a skills base that can utilised across the client organisation through process improvement and tools innovation

Qualifications:
- Experienced manager with a strong technical background and a knowledge of mobile network operations (including 1st and 2nd line incident management, change management, problem management, planning and capacity management), project management methodologies, service delivery and the commercial principles surrounding managed service contracts
- Experience of working in a NOC dealing with core network faults and incidents or experience of design and implementation of core networks
- Experience of Project delivery and P&L ownership
- Experience in managing and developing teams of directly reporting staff and staff working in the wider team (including offshore staff) that contribute to the success of the project
- Good commercial and financial awareness
- Experience of management of third party relationships and suppliers
- Proactive and resourceful: capable of independent work
- Successful at developing and managing relationships across organisational levels
- Able to win the trust of customers in challenging and changing circumstances
- Excellent Office IT, numeracy and communication skills
- Relevant tertiary education in telecoms, ITIL/ eTOM certification and/or professional organisation membership is desirable
- Driving licence valid for the UK
