Communications Specialist - 3 months - Coventry - Negotiable Daily Rate
A leading Energy and Utilities client of Pontoon is looking for a Communications Specialist to join their site in Coventry or Nottinghamshire as part of a large Change Project. The client is actively rolling out a new Communications strategy as part of this Project and the ideal candidate would be helping to implement this strategy across the business.
Key skill requirements
Essential
- Proven experience in an Internal Communications environment.
- Passionate about internal communication and employee engagement.
- Strong interpersonal with the ability to adapt communication skills relevant for the audience.
- Expert in change management communications.
- Excellent communicator - verbal and written, strong attention to detail.
- Excellent at building relationships with the ability to appropriately challenge the thinking of our senior leaders.
- Creative, but with a strong ability to plan and get things done.
- Self-starter, able to deal with a fast-paced environment and to meet challenging deadlines.
- Strong customer focus with the willingness to deliver against their needs.
- Full UK Driving Licence as travel is required

- Relevant Internal Communications experience which has been gained within the utility sector.
- Strong team player.
- Able to challenge the status quo and bring new concepts/ideas to life.
- Recognise the need for change through new or modified approaches.
- Strong awareness of latest developments in internal communications arena.
