KPMG are currently looking for a Staturoty Accounts Consultant to join a busy team on an initial 3 month contract with room for extension.
The candidate will be working as a statutory accounts specialist in KPMG's Business Technology team. The team licenses K-Trinity statutory accounts production software to clients to improve their production of statutory accounts. Demand is high and we need additional resource to deliver work.
The candidate will be working in a team on the consulting/implementation surrounding clients transferring from MS Word to K-Trinity. This requires working with clients and audit teams to understand the source data and current processes to define how accounts are prepared in K-Trinity; working with our implementation team in India to set up accounts in K-Trinity; and then communicating to clients the work we have done and the key points they will take forward.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of UK statutory accounts preparation from source information, including knowledge of key disclosures within a set of financial statements. - Experience of clients' processes for preparing statutory accounts in a group environment.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, ideally familiar with pivot table and functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.
- Client service/consulting skills.
- Ability to work in teams to deliver projects to agreed deadlines. - Qualified in ACCA or ACA.
Other
- Software/technology experience is not essential but the candidate should feel adaptable to learning about new software.
- Work primarily based in Canary Wharf with client travel as required.
