Director - Anti Bribery and Corruption

My client are a Tier 1 Investment Bank who are looking for Director level candidates to play a major role in leading and driving transfromation for Anti Bribery & Corruption across the Bank.

Key Purpose of Role

  • To work within the Anti Bribery and Corruption workstream to drive a sustainable and effective framework for the future;
  • engage with business staff throughout the programme of change, to ensure that the improvement programme is delivering its objectives and being implemented effectively;
  • provide thought and practical leadership and hands on delivery as is necessary to ensure that practices are developed and delivered in a manner that meets internal and external expectations; and
  • work on residual remediation and 'business as usual' activities within the areas of subject matter expertise, to ensure that they can maintain both momentum in its change agenda as well as effective day to day risk management.

Experience | Exposure will have:

  • detailed understanding of Anti Bribery and Corruption programmes in large financial services organisations;
  • worked within and/or led an Anti Bribery and Corruption programme of work and be able to apply your knowledge and experience to a different organization;
  • detailed understanding of the respective roles of personnel in the Anti Bribery and Corruption relevant processes
  • an understanding of regulator expectations and key Anti Bribery and Corruption risks faced by major financial services organizations and how they should be mitigated;
  • experience of working practically within remediation/change projects;
  • proven analytical capability, with the ability to assimilate large volumes of information and provide actionable solutions to issues arising;
  • the ability to communicate and report clearly and succinctly to stakeholders at different levels of an organisation;
  • the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities, working under pressure and within tight deadlines with no loss of accuracy; and ideally, experience of project management disciplines.

  • able to lead and drive change at a fast pace, using strong stakeholder management and delivery skills;
  • a pro-active, results-oriented individual with strong drive and initiative;
  • prepared to work at a practical level, driving change across multiple stakeholders and businesses;
  • willing to work as part of a team with a broad and varied mandate; and flexible and adaptable, with an ability and desire to work on both transformation and business as usual activities.
