Description
Stress Engineer
A stress engineer is required for our aerospace controls client in Birmingham. The work will be for the review and analysis of outsourced stress work so classical analysis skills (including hand calcs, mathCAD) will be required as well as a depth of FEA knowledge.
This role is focused almost entirely on approving analysis work so the Stress engineer will need to have at least 5 years worth of experience with Stress analysis (Ansys).
This is a fuel spray nozzle project for aerospace engine control designs so a familiarity with aerospace products and requirements is preferred.
You must be able to work without direction and be able to independently analyse and catch issues with stress checking.
6 month contract in Hall Green, Birmingham, rates are negotiable but £40-£50 is the bench mark.
You must be eligible for UK baseline clearance for this role.
