Description
Wind Farm Site Engineers wanted for work through out Scotland. You will be working on a wide range of Wind Farm Construction projects.
The position will be site based and a willingness to travel and work away from home will be required.
As part of a team you will report to the Site Manager/Project Manager
The successful candidate will:
Work closely with Site/Project Manager to ensure effective management of project
Implement instructions from Site/Project Manager
Maintain a daily record of site resources and activities
Management of labour, plant and material resources effectively
Supervision and control of sub-contractors
Supervise and monitor site activity ensuring compliance with QHSE standards
Preparation and implementation of Risk and Method Statements
Generate and maintain all records required as part of the CDM Plan
Co-ordination and submission of weekly returns to Head Office
Setting out
Implement, manage and close out satisfactorily all technical queries to and from Client
Education and Experience
3rd level qualification in Civil Engineering or similar relevant discipline,
Min 2 years civil engineering site construction experience,
Competence using GPS/Total Station,
Setting out & managing RC works,
Supervision of subcontractors
Control of plant, labour & materials,
SMSTS - Site Management
