Description
A Sales Engineer with a background in Fabrication is sought by a successful engineering business in North East England.
Working on an initial 6 month contract you will work closely with the Directors to set up a sales function within the company and devise and implement a strategic sales plan to improve market presence within existing and new markets. You will be responsible for all aspects of sales from prospect identification through to visit, presentation and close. You will identify and contact companies that use sub-contract fabrication services and promote the company's services and abilities to companies in a number of markets including Oil & Gas , Power, Transportation and Construction especially with regards to Lifting Equipment
The successful Sales Engineer will have a background in Fabrication and have a qualification in Mechanical Engineering. You will have good new business development and account management skills, be able to present to customers at companies ranging in size from large corporates to SMEs. You will need to be organised with good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously to drive the business forward. A full driving licence is essential.
