Interim Director of Corporate Finance
A non-profit organisation headquartered in Central London are looking to appoint an Interim Director of Corporate Finance to backfill a while the client seek to appoint a long-term permanent hire. This will be a highly visible post, reporting into CFO level for an organisation undergoing significant organisational change, including in Finance. This is a globally distributed organisation with a turnover of just under £1bn based in Central London, but travel can be expected.
Key responsibilities will be:
- development of strategic financial modelling
- finance business partnering development
- development of financial excellence in contract bid pricing and management
- lead on the enhancement of management reporting and the financial elements of the organisation's balanced scorecard
- input into improving the strategic and operational planning processes
- finance communications oversight
- deputy to the Chief Financial Officer
There will be a number of reporting Finance Business Partners reporting into this position, plus a Communications Manager.
Required experience
- Previous experience at CFO or Finance Director-level within a global not-for-profit, Public Sector or Charity
- Accountancy qualifications
- Financial Planning & Analysis skills, including MI reporting
- Grant & Contract accounting & Management
- Project Management skills
- Experience of hiring & leading Finance Business Partners
- Ideally have experience in Shared Service Operations
