Description
Working with a FTSE100 company in North London we are currently looking for an experienced finance/accountancy professional to come on board and assist in the management, reconciliation and reporting of departmental expenditure.
As the Budget and Finance Officer you will be responsible for:
- Budget planning and forecast plans
- Reconciliation of G/A & project accounts
- Supporting account owners with planning and budgeting for expenditures
- Review and challenge project actual costs and accruals
- Assist key project managers with project budget tracking
- Resolution of cost discrepancies and questions raised by Project Managers
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in:
- Auditing, reconciling of multiple project accounts
- Experience in managing and transforming under performing financial accounts into sustainable accounts
- Experience in the development of project cost models that assist in its recovery
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced understanding of accounting principles
- Advanced proficiency of skills
The role is paying a competitive contract day rate.
