My public sector client is looking for a Waste Commissioning Lead Officer
In this role you'll deliver waste management services by leading the commissioning of new services and contracts as well as existing complex waste contracts such as biowaste, landfill, household waste recycling centres, and energy from waste contracts.
You'll develop and deliver services with a high level of technical expertise, leading on major complex waste procurements and contractual framework agreements. You'll proactively manage contracts and report on performance, providing expert waste management advice to a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally, for example colleagues, customers, councilors and senior officers.
The Waste Commissioning Lead officer will be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge of waste, environmental issues, and waste diversion opportunities, together with a proven ability to contribute to service planning, improvements, and development activity.
The Waste Commissioning Lead Officer will need experience of project management, you will demonstrate initiative and the ability to manage complex plans, prioritise and co-ordinate resources to deliver priorities within time constraints.
The role is initially a 3 month contract but has the possibility to turn into a permanent role there after.
