My client who are an Engineering Company based in Stafford are looking for an experienced Inventory Accountant
Job description
The Stafford Inventory Accountant is primarily responsible for all aspects of accounting for Stafford site inventory and yearly normals process.
This role includes work on and responsibility for:
* Month end accounting for inventory.
* Month end reporting of inventory to corporate and site.
* Monthly inventory forecasting (based on latest S&OP).
* Completion of the plan with regard to inventory.
* Active member of monthly Stafford inventory meeting (provide the financial lead).
* Completion of yearly normal plant cost calculation.
* Participation in plan/year end standard setting exercise.
* Participation in any LPSD/Corporate-wide projects on any aspects of inventory valuation.
* Material Savings reporting
* Departmental expenses for Material Cost Reduction team
* AOB as required necessary
