Core Network Product Manager

Our client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for a Core Network Product Manager to join their business in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:
- Undertake break down core network sales target; get involved in core network sales proactively, including requirement identification, solution promotion, competitive commercial offer design, competitive solution design for maintainable and increasing revenue and profit
- Manage core network pre-sales activities including but not restricted to core network evolution technical consultation, providing expert guidance for operator’s core network projects; handle key important core network related RFI/RFQ/RFP bidding projects with SOC preparation, core network solution design, technical clarification, BOQ discussion & finalization, etc.
- Activating team into actions by team cooperation, and communication, surrounding workflows improvement, knowledge sharing
- Act as a technical consultant for customer; provide network design & planning proposal in the field of core network; cooperating with core network delivery team to guarantee the solution delivery successfully
- Analyze and trace development of UK telecom market as well as the corresponding account, output market strategy and promotion plan for new generation core network solution
- Implement market strategy; manage marketing and promotion activities of core network products & solutions, prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to high-level and middle-level customers
- Cooperate with the account team members on the competitive strategy, implementing business plan and action plan
- Interface directly with prospective and current middle-level customers, e.g. core network directors and CxOs, to effectively promote solution/product and identify customers’ requirements and improve customer relationship; continuing middle level customer relationship establishment and improvement

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or above in telecommunication engineering, computer science or related technical fields
- Demonstrated technical deep understanding with in-depth technical background in fixed and mobile networks especially in core networks domain, understand the industrial trends and competition and in-depth knowledge on product solutions in the following, but not limited: IMS (VOBB / VoLTE / VoWiFi / UC), HSS, PCRF, DRA, SBC, IOT platform, EPC, NFV/SDN (Cloud), NaaS, CaaS, Smart Home, and WebRTC solution
- Minimum 5 years work experience in telecom industry, and minimum 3 year’s technical sales experience in field of above core network products & solutions
- Experienced in European leading operators’ tender projects, e.g. in SoC preparation for RFI / RFQ / RFP, commercial offer design, network solution design, technical clarification, BoQ discussion & finalization with customer, and other relevant operators’ process
- Experienced in analyzing of European telecom market, competitors, and telecom operator's strategy and defining and executing promotion plan accordingly
- Skillful presenter who is capable of preparing and delivering complicated solution in a simple understandable way for various audiences of operators in presentations, road-shows or workshops
- Result oriented and self motivated person with good communication and coordination skills with customer and different departments
- Able to work independently in a multicultural and dynamically changing environment and as well an effective team player with good cooperation attitude constructively inspiring team members
- Available to travel frequently on business trips
