Interim Procurement Consultant/Specialist

North West

£800 per day (flexible depending on experience)

We are working with a well know financial services provider who are undergoing a large period of change. As part of this change agenda they are looking for a interim Senior Procurement Specialist to work closely with the Head of Procurement to review the current contract/category management structure and set proposals for improvement

Working closely with the business and building relationships internally and externally, this high profile role requires strong leadership, influencing and engagement skills as well as expertise in supporting change.

As an experienced, commercially aware leader with demonstrable senior level exposure, you will have:

  • Previous experience of supporting the change within a regulated financial services environment
  • A strong understanding of category management structures
  • Project management, people management and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills, gravitas and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • An innovative approach and the ability to develop long term strategic and operational plans
