Description
Strongsville, OH, aerospace manufacturer is hiring a Quality Inspector - 2nd shift to perform quality inspections on in-coming, in-process and finished products using various precision gages and CMM equipment. Perform audits and review quality documents for accuracy and completeness.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Set-up and verification of various in-process gauging
- Operation of CMM
- Conduct First Article (FAI), PPAP and First Piece Inspection using precision gauges, CMM, scales and visuals.
- Conduct and document second level inspections.
- Reconcile final inspection of packaged product and documentation for shipments to the customer.
- Maintain control of MRB materials and areas.
- Receiving Inspection
- Perform audits as assigned
- Maintain gauge calibration system through the following activities: inspection of gages for due dates and condition; collection and distribution of gages for third party calibration; assure that out of calibration gages are never in use.
Starting Wage: $18/hr - $23/hr
