Description
We currently require the services of a Resource Planning Manager to work for well respected client based in Nottingham.
Role & Responsibility & skills required:
- Single point of contact for all resources topics
- Create a single resource pool across all projects and portfolios
- Centralises On-off boarding
- Manage all sourcing functions (purchasing, contracts, rates for Contractors, Internals, Vendors(MSPs)
- Centralises recruitment
- Centralises inductions
- Develops a skills library associated to resources
- Centralises schedule resources.
- Manage actively resources conflicts
- Build a strategy to address possible resource shortages
- Incorporate capacity tracking reports into the strategy
- Prioritises resources and categorises them in different buckets
- Include contingency plans in the resource management strategy
- Implement a forecasting strategy
- Develop an employee incentive program that will limit turnover and help build
- Use technology (Tool) to automate these processes and strategies (Dashboard)
- Develops a communication plan/strategy towards the project/portfolio teams
