For our international client based in the Netherlands, RED is currently looking for a Senior SAP Project Manager for a new financial reconciliation project.
The position is to start ASAP and for an initial 6 months contract, aiming for a long term position:
*Senior SAP Project Manager*
Reporting to the IT Project Delivery team, the consultant will be responsible for the leadership and management of various SAP project implementations. The first project will include leading and managing the roll-out of a SAP Global Cash project as well as other SAP roll-outs with integration with 3rd party applications.
This position also ensures the successful transfer of knowledge from the project team to the post-implementation support organisation and all employees affected by the implementation. The position works closely with business, IT business analysts, and IT technical teams, serving as an expert project manager resource.
Desired skills/experience:
- 10-15 years of IT related experience within large/global organisations
- Experience of managing SAP implementation projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Strong budget management skills
- Experience working as a project manager in Manufacturing and/or Chemical companies.
- SAP Domain experience a requirement across multiple functional disciplines.
- Other SAP Domain experience a plus, (FI, MDM, BW, FI/CO, HR, APO, SRM, S&OP)
- Agile project management experience a plus. Project Management certification is preferred
- Occasional travel to plant locations many be required
