Finance Manager - School Finance Manager - Public Sector Accountant
Our client, a local authority in the Berkshire, is looking to recruit a School Finance Manager to start ASAP for 3-6 months initially.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the successful interim will:
- Take ownership of the Funding Formulas affecting Schools and Early Years, provide timely and accurate information to Schools and PVI settings on related matters
- To prepare and present papers to Schools Forum
- To maintain a current knowledge of changes to legislation and guidance.
- To be the liaison with Schools on matters relating to the funding of schools
- To inform the LA of implications associated with changes in legislation and funding arrangements for Schools
- To work with Schools in financial difficulty
