An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Customer Relations Unit for a Complaints Handler in our Reading office.

At Prudential we aim to deliver superb customer service and the Customer Handler role is an integral part of helping us achieve this. This role will require you to handle the investigation and resolution of all customer complaints. You will be required to handle each case individually using your initiative to make decisions, often under changing circumstances.

To be successful in this role some experience of complaints handling, processes and procedures is desirable, as well as some experience or understanding in the following:

  • Ability to tackle complex issues and processing customer complaints through to resolution
  • Have worked within Finance Services with working knowledge of life and pensions products, markets and competitors
  • Able to prioritise your workload
  • Willing to take responsibility, creating better outcomes by stepping forward, using your judgement and making things happen
  • Thrive on a challenge, working with intellectual rigour at pace to achieve the highest standards of execution under all conditions
  • Process improvement
  • Gained the relevant professional qualifications - FPC1, FPC2 & FPC3
  • Computer literate with the ability to navigate through multiple systems
  • Strong customer service and administrative skills
  • Regulated sales environments
