Our client seeks five Procurement Specialist to undertake and lead major tenders and contract negotiations for Health, Housing & Adult Social Care (HHASC) work & Environment & Regeneration. The successful candidates will lead on major projects and programmes of work for Procurement & Commissioning Hub especially in relation to the achievement of efficiencies whilst maintaining and delivering quality service.
You will have experience of Local government procurement at OJEU level. CIPS or 5 years + experience at senior level. Experience of savings and innovation in deliver of procurement projects. Ability to work unsupervised and make decisions. Experience of working within adult social care arena and light touch regime or working within Environment & regeneration; construction, highways, waste etc. Good communications skills both written and verbal and be able to manage relationships at all levels of the organisation.
Procurement qualification essential, CIPS of equivalent.
