Registered General NurseWe are currently recruiting for a Registered General Nurse, for our client, an innovative, forward thinking company who is looking for enthusiastic healthcare professionals to join their rapidly expanding team across the UK. Overall job purpose - To ensure that residents will be encouraged to maintain independence and choice in a homely environment which promotes excellent customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- To manage communication with all residents, relatives, staff, other professionals
involved in the care of the residents.
- To assess, develop, implement and evaluate individualised resident care, ensuring
consultation with and involvement from residents, GP’s, relatives and carers.
- To participate fully in the overall care of the residents as per the personal plan,
ensuring all records are accurate and thorough in accordance with registration and
legal requirements.
- To monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and free from hazards and
conform to health, safety and security legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines
- To be responsible for the safe administration of drugs in accordance with company
Policy.
- To be accountable and responsible for adhering to Standard Infection Prevention
and Control precautions.
- To be an effective team leader, providing clinical guidance and training to staff within
the Care Home.
- To assist in ensuring effective communication and professional liaison is established
with all staff, residents, relatives and community services
Qualifications/Professional experiences Required:
- 1st or 2nd Level registration
-- Registered Nurse with NMC PIN or in the process to obtain it
-- Excellent communication skills
-- Ability to motivate and delegate effectively
