My client, a leading retail bank, are looking for a Sourcing Manager to work out of either their London or Edinburgh offices on a short term contract basis with a high likely-HOOD of extensions.
The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for providing management and implementation advice on the group wide strategy and policy for Supplier Management. The candidate will be specifically supporting the implementation of Supplier Management in Group Operations (Non-IT)
The successful Sourcing Manager will be expected to:
- Develop and deliver the implementation plan for Group Ops (Non-IT) Supplier Management.
- Provide a single point of contact for Supplier Management, develop and maintain a close working relationships with key areas of the banking group.
- Deliver innovative, best in class systems and processes to ensure governance and bench-marking of performance is measured against key supplier management capabilities.
- Lead teams outside own span of control to ensure business units drive maximum value from the supplier relationships.
- Experience of change management, specifically GAP Analysis from As - To be models.
