Risk Manager - Stoke on Trent

My client a market leading organisation require a Risk Manager to provide oversight for their Insurance business. This role will include managing the various risk types within the business and ensuring all risks are identified and managed according to the Risk Management standards.

The role will involve:

  • Ensuring all risk types are managed in line with corporate and local policies.
  • Assistance with the ORSA Process within the European entity.
  • Attending and participating in risk committees and meetings with the broader business.
  • Driving the risk and issue escalation process across the business.
  • Working with all the relevant management functions in order to ensure understanding of the various risk processes and reporting requirements.
  • Assist in development of risk modelling techniques and inputs.

In order to be considered for this role I am looking for the following experience:

  • An experienced professional with Risk Management experience.
  • Preferably hold a risk management accreditation or other relevant qualification.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the ORSA process and expected outputs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of regulations pertaining to risk management.
  • An ability to present to and provide training for senior level stakeholders.
