NK106: IT Business Systems Analyst Banking, Brussels
Major bank is looking for an experienced Business analyst to carry out dual role of IT relationship management and also to
be a Business systems analyst.
Interesting and diverse role includes the following:
Relationship Management :
* Develops effective relationships with business units, divisions or groups of users
* Ensures required IT services are identified, developed and supported to the satisfaction of the business unit/division
* Establishes and maintains satisfaction level and is the main point of contact for requests for future transformation
Business Systems Analysis :
* Acts as a liaison between the technical teams and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems
* Evaluates new applications and identifies systems requirements
* Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements, and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems
* Prepares and manages communications, training, documentation, reference papers, etc… on system enhancements and/or alternatives.
Responsible for translating client requirements into detailed function specifications and if necessary, for managing requests for changes to the specifications. Has sound knowledge of the organization's systems and processes, expertise in the business area, and current technology advances and IT capabilities. Works mostly on the parts of the analysis processes of major projects and may work alone on small scale standard projects.
Role involves:
Collect client/user requirements to define with experts the most appropriate solution including the adoption and change management process required to reach the target level of satisfaction and adoption
Interviews with the internal and/or external clients to understand business requirements.
Assures specifications are consistent with the technology roadmap.
Contributes to project definitions, define and execute the communication and adoption plan
Focus is on analyses, definition and execution of a pre agreed plan (change, adoption, communication plan). Gives advice on an incidental basis

Strong in communication in an IT and Business environment
Able to meet Senior management and collect requirements. capability to translate these business requirements into technical ones
