Systems Accountant - Edinburgh - £225 p/day
We are currently recruiting a Systems Accountant to join a leading Bank based in Edinburgh on a contract basis. This will be an initial 6 month contract with a high chance of extension.
As a Systems Accountant you will cover daily tasks within the Treasury System Control team. The team is responsible for managing the relationship Finance System Centre of Excellence and various other business control teams in London across the Commercial Banking division. There is also regular cross divisional co-operation with operational reconciliation teams. There will also be an element of process improvement involved with the role.
You as the ideal candidate will require:
An Accounting qualification - ACCA/CIMA/ICAS etc.
Extensive experience working on Ledgers
Experience of working with large volumes of data
Background in Treasury
Advanced Excel skills
Good Communication skills
