We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company to support their project in China.

Position Title: Senior Fixed Network (CO refarming) Consultant
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: November 2016
Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities:
- CO refarming service solution research based on customer’s requirements, for example research operator’s CO refarming viability assessment and evolution steps, analyze pain point, TCO, opportunity and give service solutions to overcome these challenges.
- Offer on-site technical support for key projects as a Consultant in CO refarming domain, develop technical service solutions and tools, expand the impact of HUAWEI CO re-farming solutions.
- Participate in CO refarming projects as leader or core member, promote network consulting service, provide service and tools development recommendations or technical expertise support for customers, and complete solution presentation to CMO/CTO/CIO level customers.

Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Expert in fixed network architecture and technology including Core Network, Bear Network, Access Network.
- Proficient in Access Network technology, especially legacy PSTN service, private service (HDSL, 64K etc.).
- Familiar with Fixed Network technology evolution, such as SDH-to-OTN upgrade and out with the Copper, in with the Fiber.
- Familiar with CO design and construction standard.
- Engage with overseas T operators in network planning and design, central office construction work experience.
- Served as the T operator Access network planning / construction representative to develop network strategic planning, network architecture and designs.
- Understands Network planning and construction department organizational structure, operational processes and KPI assessment.
- Project management experience.
- Fluent in English (both written and oral).
