We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading care home group, for a Clinical Lead to join their professional healthcare team in Huddersfield, East Sussex and North Yorkshire.


Position Title: Clinical Lead
Position Type: PERMANENT

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To be an advocate of the organisation.
- To undertake PREP requirements and maintain registration as a 1st or relevant level Nurse.
- To ensure that the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.
- To assist the Home/General Manager in the maintenance of nursing and other staffing levels to those required by C.Q.C.
- To act as a role model, counsel and provide all staff with leadership, guidance and support. Manage and participate in the recruitment of all grades of staff.
- To assist in the maintaining and development of staff training, appraisal and supervision.
- To monitor and prescribe general nursing and specialist nursing care.
- To undertake or allocate audits of care and services provided within the home as delegated by the Home/General Home Manager.
- To ensure that all documentation required by the organisation or regulatory bodies is maintained and reviewed as necessary.
- To ensure that all Health & Safety requirements are met and adhered to at all times.
- To promote Residents Rights at all times by means of staff education and monitoring care delivery.
- To promote and develop the homes relations with Health Care Professionals, relatives, Regulatory Bodies and the local community.


QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Level 1 Registered Nurse – General Adult/RMN
- NVQ 4 in Management or equivalent (or willingness to undertake Management Training course),
- Evidence of Professional Development.
- Excellent communication skills
- English language to IELTS 7.0
