Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Manager to work within Central Government on a contract basis. This position is based in Bristol, initially until June 2017 offering up to £380 per day Ltd.
Main Duties and Essential Experience:
Procurement/commercial - 3 years
Experience in directs/engineering products, medium or major projects
Negotiation preparation and negotiation experience - recent
OJEU experience
Defence/maritime sector experience not necessary but useful
Excellent analytical and IT skills
Good stakeholder and team work -track record
Able to roll sleeves up - Agile and capable of integrating into Projects and contributing quickly
Experience of ITT drafting and evaluation, clarifications etc - Recent
Experience of Government Furnished Equipment into large acquisition projects
Experience of contracting for in-sourced/out-sourced service provision
Contract extensions/renegotiations
In addition to this candidates to have experience in these areas from a Commercial/Procurement perspective and not as an engineer or project manager ie have held positions with commercial responsibility for negotiating/drafting contracts, ideally with commercial delegation to commitment their organisation/company
