Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector in the UK. We are currently recruiting Commercial Manager for 4 months contract initially with possible extension.
Experience Required:
- Procurement/commercial Experience
- Experience in directs/engineering products, medium or major projects
- Negotiation preparation and negotiation experience - recent
- OJEU experience is ideal
- Defence/maritime sector experience not necessary but useful
- Excellent analytical and IT skills
- Good stakeholder and team work -track record
- Able to roll sleeves up - Agile and capable of integrating into Projects and contributing quickly
- Experience of ITT drafting and evaluation, clarifications etc - Recent
- Experience of spares procurement
- Experience of contract aggregation
- Experience of contracting for in-sourced/out-sourced service provision
- Expedition of parts and orders
- Contract extensions/renegotiations
- In addition to this candidates to have experience in these areas from a Commercial/Procurement perspective and not as an engineer or project manager ie have held positions with commercial responsibility for negotiating/drafting contracts, ideally with commercial delegation to commitment their organisation/company
