EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: This assignment will be working with one of Sopra Steria's important Public Sector clients. You will work through Sopra Steria Recruitment for Sopra Steria, the UK's leading Outsourcing and Technology Company.
This is an excellent new long term assignment for a Sub Ledger to work on a new long term project onsite for one of our major public sector clients.
The chosen candidate will display the following skills and attributes:
- Immediately available or on short notice
- Previous Purchase Ledger exposure with in the Public Sector
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong IT skills
Role specific details:
- Setting up new clients
- Producing invoices
- Banking and reconciliation
- Running off turnover statements
- Chasing up outstanding debts (not always the easiest part of the job)
- Sorting out any rebates and filing
- Checking VAT has been included on invoices
- Providing creditors with VAT receipts
