Operations Project Manager bank Contract Dublin 6-18 month contract.

My client a leading global financial institution is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Operations Project Manager to join them on a contract basis.

My client team that this role reports into is to partner with the business and support partners with responsibility for prioritising, sponsoring and implementing multiple and varied change initiatives driven by business, legal, regulatory, compliance or market requirements.Due to the highly complex nature of the work and the number of stakeholders involved, effective identification and remediation of integration issues are critical to the success of the role. Using your strong communication and influencing skills, you will converse with senior leaders across the enterprise leveraging your strong domain and functional knowledge of the business, industry, market infrastructure and front to back life cycle.

Main responsibilities will involve, Creating a clear, coherent approach to guide effective program/initiative setup, execution, and control. Candidates will ensure clearly defined responsibilities and account abilities for key program/project roles and Integrate knowledge of end-to-end business process into program planning and decision making. You will develop, maintain, and report on an overall integrated delivery plan

The key Competencies my client looks for are ability to manages End to End Change, Effective Communication, ability to lead the Adoption and Sustainment of Change. Ability to Plans and Organises, Influences, Builds Relationships Demonstrates Global Market Knowledge and Functional Expertise. it is seen as a must have to possess knowledge and experience in operations, preferably in securities finance transactions (securities lending, commodities lending, repo's, margin lending) or transaction reporting (EMIR, MiFID).

The Skills my client looks for are Significant experience working in project/change management, Previous global markets securities/regulatory projects (transaction reporting) background is seen as advantageous. My client looks for strong business partnering skills with individuals across the organisation and a keen desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Previous team management experience with small to mid-size teams. Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines and also Ability to work independently, Experience with DAIC and Agile methodologies.
