Financial Analyst - Bracknell - 5 months - approx. £197 per day
My client, a leader in the professional services sector is looking for a financial analyst to work on site at end client based in Bracknell.
They are looking for someone to gather financial data and perform financial analysis and reporting ie profit & loss reporting and to drive financial forecasting processes both short and long term.
Responsibilities
- Gathers financial data and performs financial analysis and reporting (ie profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow and pricing etc.)
- Drives the forecasting process both short term and long term
- Analyse trends within the business and ensure alignment to business and corporate objectives.
- Communicates and drives adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Experience
- Expert in understanding large quantities of financial data
- Substantial experience in financial analysis and reporting
- Proven experience in the financial forecasting, both short term and long term
- Thorough level of knowledge of tactical accounting/financial analysis
- Typically experienced in more than one finance function
- Experience of working on complex problems where the in-depth evaluation of multiple factors is needed
- Experienced in improving internal processes and establishing new processes
- Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods regarding internal processes around the analysis of financial data
- First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (eg, CPA, MBA) preferred
- Exposure to specific speciality financial area at this level is highly desirable
