Solvency II Actuarial Contractor
My client is a major life insurance business looking to recruit a Solvency II Actuary with experience of working in the Second Line.
Solvency II Actuary Responsibilities;
- Support embedding of internal model use within first/second line risk based decision making
- Development of Use Test processes to operationalise existing model use framework
- Focus on risk profile and appetite and decisions of a strategic, product, business or capital nature
- Includes development of documentation to assist first line self-assessment of model use and second line summary reporting
- Working collaboratively with Finance and Actuarial functions in particular
- Reporting to the Use Test workstream lead within the Risk function
Solvency II actuary Skill set/experience;
- Qualified or Part Qualified Actuary
- Experience of working within a life insurance business
- Second line/Pillar 2 experience (could be use test or validation, working within risk or actuarial functions).
