Description

Senior Finance Manager/High Wycombe/7 Months Contract/Up To £44 Per Hr

Responsibilities:

To provide a financial decision-support service to the business to enable improved decision-making.

To provide insights into the financial performance of the business' brands and departments.

To calculate, record, challenge and report the business' budget and financial projections.

To provide insights into deviations from planned and projected performance.

To improve and maintain the financial knowledge of the business to enable financial literacy.

To calculate and prepare financial transactions to ensure accurate financial records.

To engage with the business partners to deliver on agreed financial targets.

To provide leadership to a direct report with respect to behaviour, objectives and development.

Prepare or approve financial submissions.

To calculate and record robust, accurate, timely and complete financial forecasts .

To provide insightful analysis and commentary to explain deviations in financial performance between actual business results and planned or forecasted results or from one plan cycle to another plan cycle.

To review and validate the patient/sales models through collaboration with the Business Intelligence team to ensure robust assumptions and outputs are provided to the marketing teams.

To ensure all business partners have appropriate finance knowledge to enable accurate, timely, complete and appropriate initiation of financial transactions such as: accruals, prepayments and purchase order goods receipts and are kept sufficiently informed of key finance deadlines in order to aid compliance to the finance timetable.

To engage with the business to deliver on agreed financial targets.

To independently provide financial projections for each quarterly Latest Thinking projection.

To hold regular 1:1s with the direct report to review performance and to provide guidance and leadership.

Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Analytical expertise.

Accountancy.

MS Excel proficiency.

Experience with SAP ERP and SAP Business Warehouse system.

Qualifications

Qualified Accountant (eg ACCA, CIMA, ACA)

Registration with official governing bodies eg General Medical Council, Royal Society of Pharmacists
