Internal Digital Communications Manager, London, £350p/d, Media

Providing a specialist Internal Communications and Engagement advice to the relevant division or corporate area. Responsible for Internal communication and engagement planning and counsel working directly with senior leaders. Ensuring high quality delivery of engagement strategies, key announcements, internal news, change programme communications, employee updates, internal campaigns and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads on the scoping, facilitation and planning for key Internal Communication and Engagement activities. Working closely with senior business leaders to get buy in for the determined approach and deliverables.
  • Support the Head of Internal Communications and Engagement in the planning and delivery of major corporate announcements, launches, events and key channels.
  • Drive and oversee effective, measurable, timely and tailored delivery of internal communications campaigns, working to maximise effectiveness and audience reach
  • Own key IC channels and/or input into their development
  • Develop and manage trusted stakeholder relationships with IC heads and senior managers across the organisation.
  • Advise clients and stakeholders on strategic communications best practice, industry trends, channel strategies and stakeholder/influencer management.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships throughout the organisation and have the ability to drive and implement multiple projects at the same time.

Essential

  • Proven experience of personal involvement in the management of specialism within diverse organisation.
  • Sufficient breadth of specialist knowledge in the specialist subject/discipline to advise on specialist subject.
  • Ability to analyse and contextualise complex issues, identify key points to be addressed and develop effective, practical and simple plans to resolve problems
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to present clear and concise professional communications to range of audiences.
  • Confidence in using a wide range of digital and social media
  • Confidence and strong track record in managing relationships with a wide range of senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge and/or experience of the media/broadcasting environment
