Description

Job Title: Category/Commercial Manager
Rate - £400 per day
Location: Leeds & London
Contract Length: 3 months
Job role:

  • To build relationships with key stakeholders for regional stakeholders
  • To help to build and develop a reputation for Commercial as the Centre of excellence for Commercial Procurement activity by supporting and advising business areas on procurement practices.
  • To assist the Senior Commercial Managers to promote category management principles across core spend
  • To assist the Senior Commercial Managers to implement and communicate Governance procedures including monitoring and improving compliance
  • To provide support to the Senior Commercial Managers in advising on the approach and developing annual and strategic forward plans
  • To provide support in identifying savings initiatives/opportunities and to assist with the introduction of standardised dashboard reporting

Skills required to deliver this project are:
Strong stakeholder engagement.
Ability to interpret narrative and communicate effectively Knowledge of Public Sector Procurement, specifically in Health
Good knowledge of leading practice Commercial principles, processes and practices including category management
Strong communication skills
Effective presentation skills
A resilient and tenacious approach
Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements
