Responsibilities:
- Providing advisory financial support for Sales pitches
- Presenting market insight at Sales pitches from deal experience
- Lead a detailed Financial Review meeting with the client to assess the performance of their business and forecast future performance
- Perform all key financial analysis from historic information, forecasts and budgets
- Development of financial models to support business valuations (e.g. DCF)
- Identifying KPI’s for our clients business/industry and benchmarking of their performance
- PESTEL and SWOT analysis
- Evaluation of external consultants reports, presentations and recommendations
- Analyse and assess the quality of management information and suitability to support execution of due diligence
- Bid analysis on offers received
- Preparation of financial materials to be included in Information Memoranda and Management Presentations (Profit Plans)
- Ongoing support of the Deal Team and Senior/Lead Advisor for a transaction
- Assist with the collation and presentation of financial due diligence materials
- Recommendations on business initiatives/strategies to enhance growth proposition
- Advise internal and external clients on any financial matters
Qualifications:
- Strong financial background
- Knowledge of different valuation techniques and ability to apply
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Sound in-depth knowledge of statutory accounts
- Ability to interpret management information packs
- Positive attitude towards work and ability to manage own workload
- Positive attitude towards clients (both internal and external)
- Planning and organising - able to meet prescribed deadlines (fast-paced environment with tight deadlines)
- Adaptable and versatile working style
- Strong team working skills
- Commercial and organisational awareness
- Problem solving and technical/analytical thinking
- Ability to engage and articulate, holding high level business discussions with all parties involved
- Effective facilitation of face to face meetings
- Drive for results – works on own initiative as well as within a team; willing to go beyond their comfort zone and willing to tackle tasks outside of usual requirements
- Ability to write reports and edit documents to high standard
- Experience in Corporate Finance environment, desirable
- Strong commercial experience
- ACA/ACCA Qualified (or equivalent or relevant work experience)
