Description

An International Television company are looking for a Performance Improvement Analyst for a one year maternity cover contract.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To be a key point of contact within the Research and Insight team, carrying out strategic insight projects as required by the wider business and help to explore and leverage my clients data assets.

ROLE-SPECIFIC SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic insight on the performance of my clients content portfolio across the European market
* Analyse specific offerings and bundles provided by my clients portfolio of channels across the European market
* Offer insight to the programming and acquisition teams to assist with contract negotiations
* Work with audience measurement data including data currencies (such as BARB)
* Collaborate and write analysis requests to internal and external analytics teams.
* Lead occasional primary research studies
* Create presentations and Insight reviews

Experience & Knowledge:
* Strong experience in audience and strategic insight, ideally in a broadcaster or media agency
* Proven knowledge of BARB & television data (or the equivalent from a different market), media analysis tools and techniques
* Strong knowledge of Television audience metrics essential
* Strong ability to profile audiences to Programmes and channels and extract key insights and conclusions. Experience of online measurement
* Experience of writing and presenting to a wide range of audiences
* Proven experience in effectively and diplomatically dealing with a range of departments and levels within an organisation
* Experience of operating in a fast-moving and dynamic environment Competence Requirements:
* An inquisitive and tactical individual who is keen to uncover quantitative insights using a variety of research tools
* A genuine interest in understanding content performance, audience measurement and content strategy
* A strong presenter
* Have a proactive approach to finding solutions and developing new ideas
* Display initiative and be adaptable to change
* Attention to detail whilst being able to see the bigger picture
* Ability to prioritise effectively and display strong organisational skills

Medior: Operational role; Specific skill set or training; Standard educational credentials required; Prior experience in this role (2-5 years)

Summary: Responsible for providing analysis on marketing results and effectiveness to drive at business insights, customer experience insights, and performance improvement plans.

Education/Experience: Degree and previous experience in marketing/sales mgmt. and analytics; preferably experience in the telecom sector

Skills and Competencies: Marketing mgmt.; strong analytical capabilities; experience in insight/customer research platforms; results oriented; communication and collaboration skills; project & time mgmt.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Identify, design and build marketing and customer insight reports/dashboards that visualize key marketing and/or customer experience metrics.
2. Collect, analyse, monitor and maintain all data feeding the reports/dashboards.
3. Generate reports and analyse customer behaviour and the business impact of marketing plans.
4. Interpret results to identify cause-effect relationships and provide recommendations for optimizing marketing effectiveness and improving customer experience.
5. Develop reports for reviewing/tracking of marketing funnel/sales cycle performance.
6. Track and evaluate results, incorporate historical trends, and interpret findings into clear and concise reports.
7. Link marketing performance back to business insights, customer experience insights, and performance improvement recommendations.
8. Input into the on going development of customer insight tools to further improve the quality of insights.
