Description
Harvey Nash's Public Sector client in Edinburgh requires an Expenditure Analyst to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.
You will be required to generate data from finance and reporting systems, analyse and evaluate, and report back to stakeholders, identifying efficiencies and savings.
Key Duties:
. Data generation from finance/reporting systems
. Analysis and evaluation of data
. Provide management information and reporting
. Using project management methodologies to identify opportunities for improvement
. Use findings to create an improvement implementation plan
. Liaise with management to minimise potential disruption to existing methods
Essential Skills:
. Experience and understanding of finance and purchasing systems
. Project management skills
. Strong analysis abilities and able to use evidence to support recommendations
. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically with Excel for reports to support MI
. Excellent presentation and report writing abilities
. Experience of change and continuous improvement projects would be advantageous
