Council Tax Team Leader
£Day rate, please advise

Code Red Associates are a specialist supplier of resource to the public sector, local authority & social housing sectors. We are currently looking for an experienced Council Tax Team Lead/Manager to work on an initial 3 - 6 month contract basis for a respected organisation with offices in London.
The main purpose of the role will be to support the Revenues Manager in leading a team of Council Tax Officers supporting on valuation, billing, collection and recovery of council tax. You will help assist in reviewing current business processes, deputise in the absence of the Revenues Manager, and contribute towards performance management of staff.
Essential skills:
Previous experience of managing/leading a team at a similar capacity
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Previous demonstrable people/performance management experience
Ability to work in a pressured, target driven environment
Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
Extensive knowledge of Council Tax legislation and appropriate regulations
Desirable skills:
Numeracy and literacy skills to minimum A Level
