Internal Audit Manager
An Internal Audit Manager is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our defence client based in Farnborough.
This is a 6 month contract working with a leading UK defence company.
Overview of the Internal Audit Manager contract role
You will be responsible for leading and supporting the planning, conduct and delivery of a portfolio of audit assignments to achieve the targets and milestones agreed as part of the annual audit programme. You will also be responsible for communicating audit findings to senior management, ensuring observations are supported by appropriate evidence and issues are articulated clearly.
Key skills required for the Internal Audit Manager
- Motivation with a clear focus on business excellence and improvement, strong stakeholder management skills and be able to handle conflict in a respectful way that builds relationships.
- You will be organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to think strategically with excellent communication skills both written and verbal. You will have the ability to challenge business practices in a constructive, credible and objective way.
- You will have a willingness to travel and should be flexible and adaptable.
- You will have a desire to develop within the role and ambition to use your experience in Internal Audit as a stepping-stone to further your career development.
The role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire commutable from Aldershot, Farnham, Wokingham, Bracknell, Chertsey, Weybridge, Woking, Guildford, Farnham, Winchester, Basingstoke and Reading with excellent access from Surrey and Berkshire
