A Senior Technical Cobol Analyst to work a contract role for 12 months within a very prestigious client in Brussels, Belgium.

Job:
- Design and development of Cobol applications, maintenance and level 3 support.
- Translate functional analysis and requirements into technical analyse and developments together with the parties involved.
- Give support in planning estimations of workload, costs, timelines and technical risks.
Languages:
Fluent in English and Dutch OR French
Technical Skills:
- A degree or a bachelor in information technology or similar level based on experience.
- 7 years of work experience in Cobol IT environment.
- Large knowledge of analysis and modelling tools, different platforms, methodologies, programming languages, processes or architectures used within Cobol context.
- Knowledge of banking processes and Accounts & Savings domain.
Is an asset:
Strong interest in Continuous Deployment and Agile/SCRUM and/or experience as Scrum Master.
Soft Skills:
- Analytical and strong in problem solving.
- Well organised: to work out detailed action plans how to reach the goal, taking into account the constraints and priorities.
